What is growing on Epic Gardeners?

Today we're doing a little bit of a free form episode

on just my thoughts on micro greens

and my quick story on how for a brief second

I was selling them to restaurants all around my hometown of San Diego, California.

So the first thing that I did is I bought a pack, sort of a starter pack of micro-greens

from, I think this website growing microgreens.

I'm not sure if they're still around but I bought some seeds I bought some trays and of

course if you go to epic gardening.com slash microgreens I'll have all my guides for microgreens are right there.

But you really don't need a lot to grow them. So I grew these. I had some really cool varieties. One of them was

red garnet amaranth, one of the most beautiful looking micro greens you can grow.

I had a purple basil. I had some interesting microgreens in the cabbage family that have a green leaf but a red stem so a very

interesting visual appearance and as I grew these wasn't too hard to set up a

tray and get it going I looked at him one day I remember I looked outside

they were blowing in the wind and I said you

know what I bet a restaurant would buy these. So what I did is I called my cousin up and

I said hey take a day off work I need some some backup I need some emotional support because I'd

never gone door-to-door before I did a lot of marketing work in the past and a lot of
