To those of you joining us for the first time, welcome.

I'm George the Poet.

This podcast is hard to describe.

Basically, I'm inspired by the world around me, but the world inside me, that's where things get interesting.

I'm the kind of person who's perfectly happy alone with my thoughts, but sometimes I close my eyes and I see things that are way bigger than me, things that it would be selfish of me not to share.

In 2017 I saw the need for a deeper conversation about my community.

I told myself I was going to create a current affairs audio magazine

designed for listeners to absorb information in the most fun way possible.

In 2018 I linked up with this musical genius called Ben Brick and wrote the first chapter of this podcast.

I experimented with different styles and subjects and we ended up with an audio scrapbook of random diary entries from my actual life.

To be honest, I didn't know what people would think, but somehow it really connected with a lot of you. That chapter won five British

podcast awards and Yol we had articles all over the place.

We even got into the New York Times and the Financial Times and the Guardian and the Times.

It's been amazing.

Earlier this year I partnered with the BBC and now it's late 2019 and we're back with

Chapter 2. This time's a little bit different though.

There are overlapping storylines, intermingling and running throughout.

I can't lie, I've been watching so many Disney movies with my nephews and it's kind of started

rubbing off but listen my story is all about what I hope to achieve and what I want to

see next.

So to fully understand it, try and listen to it in order.
