I'm Mitch Light, a college football editor with The Athletic, and I'm joined by Ari Wasserman, our national recruiting writer at the athletic.

I'm doing well. How are you, bud?

I'm very good. Usually we've got a plan. We do have a plan, but there's just so much to talk about.

I'm going to start the show on with the question. What do you want to talk about

first? There are so many things we could lead with. I am pretty overwhelmed right now with all the

things that are happening and we have seven days to go. And after we're done with this podcast,

we have to talk about what I need to write the next few days. But I think the most interesting

thing is probably Mario Cristobal, right,

in the waves of what that move from Oregon to Miami means,

not only for Oregon, but what it means for Miami and also USC.

I don't know what it is that's in the air, Mitch,

but is this the most prevalent time in the history of,

or at least a modern history of college football where coaches are going from powerhouse to powerhouse?

Yeah, I think it's, it's, and I guess when you have coaches going from powerhouse to powerhouse,

it just seems like in this cycle, more programs are being affected by recruiting because when Lincoln Riley goes to USC, that affects every other school that recruits California.

When Chris Tobol, I'm not going to say it wrong every time, Christobal, goes.

Anybody who listens to this podcast just has to accept that you can't pronounce his name.

It's a mental block.
