It was really, disastrous. It was really astonishing as we went off air yesterday. He stood up

and he did his speech, and I feel like him today, because I've got the white shirt on,

the sleeves rolled up. Quentin Lett, I can't find it now, but it was the most, I mean, he's my favourite

journalist behind Sarah Byne on a par. And he said, it was extraordinary because the Prime

Minister started with such verve. And then, as is usual, as the gravy cooled, we ended up

with this congealed mess of nothing. Now, there was a moment in the speech I want to play for you when

he sort of said, I have my doubters, but I will fight. And he waited for applause. And there was

No, no round of applause. How? The thing that came out in that speech and I heard Julia say it so brilliantly yesterday is how? Suddenly you're going to

nationalise British steel which could have been done 10 years ago. Suddenly you're going to get

closer to Europe which again is completely against what I said this to Zia Yusuf yesterday, and I expect you to agree with me.
