Hello, James. I am on a bus right now. Backseat of the bus, almost the backseat.

But the toilet's just behind me. And we're heading to the airport having just finished at the White House.

Yeah, we spoke to you yesterday on your way to Washington

as the Prime Minister was preparing to meet the President.

Now it's all over. You're heading home.

What was it like? That's the question. What was it like?

It's one heck of a spectacle. I mean, I've been to the White House a few times,

but it's never something you tie out of. It's huge privilege as a report to get to go.

One heck of a spectacle, because you've got a president who is theatrical in his instincts in terms of his approach to governing, governing by news conference, if you like.

So as opposed to when it was President Biden and we would shuffle into the Oval Office for

the square root of five minutes, if that, and then get kicked

out and not really learn very much.

It became this sort of rolling, you know, half an hour of news conference.

And then the actual news conference after that.

So, yeah, quite a thing to witness, quite a spectacle.

And I suspect Downing Street in the round, firstly relieved and secondly happy, because, you know, these things can be excruciating and or disastrous and it probably wasn't either of those things for Keir Starrmer.

Yeah, and so we're going to catch up with all the details from that later news conference between Donald Trump and Kier Starrmer soon.
