Another Prime Minister's Questions where Keir Starmer does everything BUT answer a question. The Speaker is either unable — or unwilling — to intervene, so what should be proper scrutiny turns into a political pantomime. If this is how Starmer is going to behave, then frankly, scrap the whole thing. It becomes an affront to democracy.

Head in hands in the chamber, he looked like a man who knows it's over. And then there's the Morgan McSweeney "stolen phone" story — which absolutely reeks of desperation. It's the political equivalent of: "Sorry Sir, the dog ate my homework." And just like his other excuses, the public won't buy it. He looked finished. Completely finished. Maybe he's simply come to the same conclusion as much of the country: he's not up to the job. Do you agree?
