Well, the government's f***. Look, I know I've said this a lot, and that is for a straightforward reason.

This government has been toast, almost since it first came to power.

The Stama Project, just as we predicted on the left, has proved to be an unmitigated catastrophe.

It has been, politically speaking, the Walking Dead for a long time,

and the question has been whether it will all just

finally, officially, fall apart. Not if. A little recap for you.

Morgan McSweeney, in theory, Kirstama's Chief of Staff, in practice, a de facto prime minister,

has been forced to resign over the appointment of Peter Mandelson, the close pal of the late

paed of Geoffrey Epsteinstein as of course US ambassador.

And now Tim Allen, a former Tony Blair advisor who Stama recruited as his director of communications,

has also resigned.

It really is all falling apart in front of our very eyes, spectacularly so, I would say.

And indeed, the Scottish Labour leader, Arasawa, has stuck in the knife.
