Hi, I'm Eric Boss. An Avengers Endgame gave a heartbreaking send-off to Iron Man Tony Stark,

but did so in a way that was true to all aspects of his character, including how freaking smart the guy is,

making all of us feel like Ruffalo's, not Bruce Banners, Ruffalo's.

In Ingame, Tony Stark not only configures the missing link of the other Avengers time travel technology,

he proves to have the sharpest recollection when it comes to details within historical timelines.

On the spot, he recalls a backup time and place to retrieve the Tesseract and more Pimp particles.

But even more ingeniously, he uses tiny details within past generations of his own Iron Man armor,

specific forgotten loopholes within upgrades, as a weakness that he exploits against their past selves in order to get the upper hand.

Really, the entire endgame film is a tribute to how brilliant Tony Stark has been when it comes to adapting his tech, battle after battle, over the past decade.

And I'm gonna break down all these hidden gems.

Okay, so when you rewatch Endgame and all of the MCU movies with Iron Man,

you start to notice specific things about the evolution of Tony Stark's suit.

In each movie, Stark adapts the technology in small ways to respond to

mistakes from previous conflicts. We witnessed this adaptive thinking in the first Iron Man,

Tony's trial and error montage as he customized each component of his armor. But that experimentation

actually never stopped. It evolved all the way through the present. So when the first Iron Man, Tony was kidnapped in Afghanistan with no GPS for anyone to track his location.

So later in Spider-Man Homecoming, Stark reveals to Peter that the suit he designed for him comes with a GPS tracker.

And how did he find me? Did you put a tracker in my suit or something? I put everything in your suit, including this heater.

Actually, that heater was an adaptation from Stark's past experience as well, when he iced up during his test flight in the first Iron Man.

And in Iron Man 3, when his suit lost power in the snow in the middle of Tennessee.

Ugh, that is brisk! You could also see that parachute that popped out of Peter Parker's suit as an adaptation from

Rody's War Machine Armor and Civil War, which was months prior.
