Am I using the correct colones?

Oh, I feel like people are calling this movie all combinations of Star Wars, Episode 7, and The Force Awakens.

It's usually not all three.

I think the official title is Star Wars, Episode 7, The Force Awakens.

Yes.

Star Wars, colon, episode 7, N-Dash, I think, The Force Awakens.

The punctuation remains, perhaps, in doubt.

But we've got the essence of it.

At any rate, it is the seventh Star Wars movie and also the seventh in the chronology now, right? Our chronology has been caught back up again. And the first Star Wars movie not directed by George Lucas ever, am I correct? No, no. So George Lucas directed the original Star Wars, the 1977 movie, and the three prequels.

But Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi were two different directors, though he was heavily involved and often on set and calling a lot of shots from what I understand.

Yeah, and enough of an involved presence that, yeah, he would be called more than a distant producer of some kind.

Yeah, right.

But in this new J.J. Abrams co-written and directed version, if I'm correct,

George Lucas has no official hand.

He has no involvement whatsoever.

So this is the first one, you know, for Empire Strikes Back,

Irvin Kirchner directed that.

I forget who directed Jedi.

Richard Markwan, I think.
