Star Wars Rebels. I am your host Alex Maxwell and joining me as always is Mac Lacey and we are here. We are starting in on season two of our Rebels rewatch.

We are going to be covering episodes one through twenty of this season for season two. You have a big stretch, a big lift for this one.

We just want to save a little bit of time for this season's finale for the next episode.

But in the meantime, we have tons of talk about.

Yeah, we do. And so if you are wondering, why didn't this come out last week? I've been looking, we have got a lot of people on social media asking, what's going on? Is everything okay? Yeah, everything's all right.

We both just had vacations and so we didn't want to try to rush it too much. So we just decided to delay it one week. And so it just pushed everything for season two back one week.

And then we'll get right back on schedule for season three. So no alarm there. We will be doing our season two finale next week. And I cannot wait to talk about that with you, Mac.

It's going to be epic. There's going to be a lot that we've got to discuss with that. But there's a lot to discuss on this episode.

Like Max said, we've got 20 episodes to cover. And so we're going to spend some time on certain episodes, maybe a little bit longer than others.

But we want to make sure we give each episode it's due and talk about what we liked about them, what it could mean for a soka coming up. And we've got actually some news on a soka since we've last podcasted on season one of Star Wars Rebels.

And as you know, if you followed us with the Mandalorian season three, maybe you're new here. We're going to be doing scene by scene breakdowns for a soka every single episode.

And we can now say when that begins and that will be August 23rd.

Boom. Yeah, right right around my birthday. So I feel like it's a birthday present for me. So good coming out. Yeah, I am so excited. And every episode of Rebels that we

I watch, you know, for this gets me more and more excited for a soka not only just because of, you know, a soka showing up more and more.

But also just knowing that we're going to get more on some of these characters that we love so much.

Right. And see their live action adaptations for the first time. So yeah, I'm super excited. It's it's going to be a really fun few months here at Children of the Watch.

Yeah, I mean, that's why we're doing this right to prepare for a soka altogether like we're not doing scene by scene breakdowns for every episode of this.

But it does get us prepared for a sokan. I think, you know, we've said it so many times.

Star Wars Rebels feels essential for a sokan. So I'm really glad that we're doing this because it's a great reminder about some things.

But we are going to be getting some new things in a soka as well.

And one of the things that just recently came out that pretty much we all know now it's not really a spoiler.
