A convergence. A convergence happening in the Cantina. A convergence you say.

Yes, convergence of two of my favorite things in the whole wide world. Star Wars and lounge music and no one does that better than this week's guest in the Cantina Richard Cheese aka Mark Jonathan Davis.

In fact, he is the voice that you hear whenever Rebel Force Radio takes you in the Cantina.

He is exciting to talk to Richard about his crazy career from radio personality to singer turned actor and soon to be author will catch up with him and it's going to be great fun.

But first introductions in order. If you are new to this program, my name is Jason and with me my good friend and yours from Chicago.

Hey Jason. Hey Star Wars fans and lounge lizards. Yes, Richard Cheese joining us in the Cantina Mark Jonathan Davis.

And you might be saying yourself why? Well, it's it's real simple. Jason mentioned the Cantina intro music is based on one of Mark songs.

The Star Wars Cantina Richard Cheese his alter ego has put out entire albums dedicated to Star Wars and mashing up songs with swing jazz arrangements as only he can.

And he's a great guy and a huge Star Wars fans. So I'm looking forward to getting him in the Cantina. It's been long overdue.

And he's got all kind of interesting things that he wants to lay on us. So that's going to be a lot of fun that's coming up later in the show.

Well, I want to bring up something we were talking about on last week's show when we were talking about those great blue ray extra features that show the behind the scenes of the making of the Star Wars prequels, etc.

And we were talking about George Lucas when he goes in on McCat Day to inspect the McCats. He visits the art department and he puts them through the ringer.

And he's just showing all hopes and dreams after months of months of hard work just with you know, five minutes in and out of there.
