Let's get back to our fanboy moment and that's talking about Star Wars.

There's something else I want to follow up with you on and that was a discussion we had

0:20.4

on the show, courtesy of our friend, Sheldon Norton and that was an exploration into the

0:25.1

usage of the number 2187 in Star Wars and kind of like where George Lucas got the inspiration

0:34.2

from then. Sheldon tracked it down. He narrowed it down to this artsy film from the 60s, a short

0:40.9

film, 2187. I forget who the filmmaker was who created that. But I actually watched the film.

0:50.5

You can see it online if you just do a simple search for it. You can find it. And it's 11 minutes

0:56.9

long. It's black and white. And it's just a montage basically of different clips, you know, things

1:06.6

taken from history. I don't even know where he got all the source material from. But it's sort of

1:12.6

is it creates this almost like a big spider web of film clips that he just throws at you. But

1:21.9

the amazing thing about it is there is a rhythm to it. And within this film 2187, there's a blatant

1:27.2

reference to the force. And we have the clip. Many people feel that set in sort of the contemplation

1:37.4

of nature and in communication with other living things, they become aware of some kind of

1:50.2

force or something behind this apparent mask, which we see in front of us. And they call it

2:03.9

God or the, you know, depending on their particular disposition to the question and feeling for

2:08.6

thoughts of some aspect of it, of some aspect of it. To me is not the same thing as a world full of

2:15.8

human beings. There's something going. There's something missing. And then the people say, well,

2:21.3

this is good. Let's have more of it. Somebody walks up and you say your number is 2187, isn't it? Why

2:27.8

does that person really smile? All right. Well, you heard the reference to 2187 and the reference

2:33.9

to the force within that film clip. So, shelled and kind of turned us on to it. But I think you

2:41.3

wanted to dig a little bit deeper, Paul. Now, this whole knowledge of this number having some sort

2:50.2

of significance on George Lucas and Star Wars kind of gets by a lot of Star Wars fans.
