And today we're talking season two episode nine hide and seek. Aeron. What do you think of this episode?

It's not good, Jim. It's not good. No, it's not. You're right. I guess if, you know, a lot of times the penultimate

episode is like the most of a thing that a show tends to be like it's that certainly was the case for

shows like the wire for Game of Thrones breaking bad. I should expect it just to be the biggest

dumbest action episode of all time. Um, and then that's what this delivers like do you want to see

action Elnor butchering Borg and it's it's cool these butchering them because they're Borg they

did they're not people. Uh, do you want to see Gerard, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, Raffi and seven, uh, tag team

a bunch of Borg soldiers. Do you want to see, um, Picard with the machine gun, you know, it's like

everybody. Everybody's got guns, a Kimbo blast in this episode. Um, but they completely, you got

it, you got to, you got to check your brain out. Um, because, well, they're trying to bring,

they're trying to bring it home, right? In this episode, like, uh, they're, they're showing us,

okay, what does the key mean? They're showing us the door. They're showing us the big inciting event

Picard's childhood that change forever changed him and scarred him and you're right. It is wrapped

in this big dumb fighting episode, but I don't think either of them really landed.

Well, the other thing is, I'm pretty sure the next generation established that Picard's mother

lived the old age. Uh, Jesus, really? When they, yeah, there's this, uh, where no man has gone before,

I think that's the Nagila episode. Um, or maybe it's, um, or is that the, the first appearance of

the, um, the traveler, but they go to this thing where like, uh, the, the boundaries between

reality and fantasy breakdown and the crews start seeing, you know, uh, visions of their past and,

and, uh, whatnot. And Picard sees his mother like at a tea table and she's an old elderly person

about as old as Patrick Stewart is now and she's offering him tea and whatnot. Um, it's like,
