I'm Aaron and today we're talking about season two, episode six titled two for one. I thought it was all for one, but apparently they could only spare two of the crew for one here.

Aaron, what do you think about this episode?

It was more fun than it was the kind of fun I was kind of hoping to have, you know, the board queen taking the Agnes out for a spin.

But also it's, yeah, I don't know. It's fine. It's fine. I'm like, there's, I'm a God. I don't know where to begin on the like mental health representation of this show.

And I don't even know like if I want to like, is like what I'll say will spoil my analysis for the rest of the episode. So I go, what, what did you think?

I thought it was, there are scenes in this that I really strongly disliked. But for the most part, this episode is fine. I liked some of the stuff that Picard was doing with Renee, his little talk with Renee.

I thought was compelling. But boy, that's your Adi scene, where she starts seeing Pat Benatar.

I don't know what to make of that scene. Man, that's like, and then the excuse that they give for it immediately after just shocked me.

I don't even know where to begin talking about what, what happened there? Well, wait till we get to the scene to get into details. But that was real dumb.

Real, real dumb in my mind.

We're always saying, why, why don't they do something from like current pop culture? Why don't the early something from the last few decades? Why can't we get Elvis?

Why isn't Riker and Elvis saying, why does he have to appreciate Bach and Beethoven and fucking shit like that?

Yeah, they're reading Beowulf and Shakespeare. Nobody ever reads, you know, Jack Carillac or whatever.

Not like this, man. Not like this. This is not what we meant.

I meant Riker just chilling in his quarters, listening to Beastie Boys or something. Not theirs.

Sure. Yeah. This is not what we were talking about.

Yeah, so that was wild.

But yeah, I think it was a pretty serviceable episode. You know, I kept the action moving. There was always something going on that was like a pressing concern.

So yeah, I kept moving, which is all I guess I could ask of a 35 minute episode.

Yeah. Man, I tell you what. Also, I'm, I'm, this this episode is converting me into an Alice in Pill fan.
