There was a Star Fox emergency right after we recorded this episode of the MinMax Show podcast.

And so we jumped in for a live reaction stream with Kyle Hilliard and MinMax's production assistant Nick Stevenacci, who is a huge fan of Star Fox.

But in this big reveal of the surprise Nintendo Direct, they announced they're making a Star Fox game for Switch 2, and it's just

called Star Fox, but it is another remake of Star Fox 64. And it has a redesign of all the Star Fox

characters, and they're shockingly realistic. They're going for a more animal look here. Some people say they're going for the puppets on the Super Nintendo box art. It's different from puppets. They're going for more animal-like with these depictions of Star Fox. So big reactions all across the internet. But just as we can cover it on this week's episode of the podcast, here are snippets from that reaction stream before we get to the meat and potatoes of new stuff for the MinMAC show this week.

We don't know. I might cry. I, I, I, I, I, all right. Let's jump it. We don't know what the hell this is. This is, as fresh as it can get. This is looking 64 really, right? That's what he said, yeah. It is. Oh, no! What? Oh no! Oh no, no! What? I think I like it. I think I like it. The weirdest thing about this, other than it just surprise, direct, which, if this is the new standard for them, planning for podcasts, it's screwed. But, like, the weirdest thing is, like, the leak said new Star Fox game, and the visuals are, like, awesome, Or, like, there was something about, like, the visuals are... Impressive. I think they said they're impressive. Impressive. I was... I could not imagine. What? I was so excited for thinking of, like, oh, I think that it means it's going to be more stylized. And for it to be the almost exact opposite of stylized is the part that I just could not. I like the idea of like realistic animal pilots, right?

Like I think that's fun, but I just don't, I, they do need to be a little more humanized, I think.

So strange.

I'm just, I'm shaking up because you guys say stylized and we just got off of the,

the Mario Galaxy movie and that style is insane.
