What is happening?

Welcome to another episode of the Nintendo Powercast.

I'm your host, N64, Josh, and we just got done watching Star Fox Direct.

I was literally sitting on the couch, eating sushi, and I saw the Nintendo Today app pop direct starts in eight minutes and I was like,

what, what is, what is this? Why? What is what is happening? And here we are, Star Fox game started

out super, super strong. Like,

I'm for the most part, I think the graphics on this are pretty stellar. I want to hear

from you guys, of course. I'm just going to give some initial thoughts. Like, I love this direction.

I love the direction that they are taking Star Fox,

that they're leaning more into the characters.

This feels and looks like so much more like a modern game.

Voice acting.

There's a lot of things that we have talked about over the last six months

that like we would love to see from Nintendo.

This is a lot of those things.

An IP we know and love.

Voice acting from all the characters.

What looks to be really good cutscenes.

Now this is, it's not like a, it's based on the N64 game, right?

But if you watched all of the direct,

you got to see the prologue of the game,

which shows James McLeod,
