all right fitsy i'm not sure we have hardly anything to talk about this week

there's it hasn't been a busy week at all it's too bad there's like no iowa state

sports news of any relevance happening right now and there hasn't been anything interesting that happens.

Yeah, I mean, let's start with the game at Oklahoma.

Yeah, man, I started watching that game and I think kind of like everyone else we all kind of thought you know

It was gonna be heading toward the first blowout in probably like three or four years. Yeah

But man, it didn't.

I mean, Iowa State battled back, obviously had that shot to win at the very end with that

two-point conversion.

May or may not have been passing interference, but regardless, it didn't happen, unfortunately. But you got to give a ton of credit for them to not

lay down and just take a beating.

I think the thing for me was that, all right, you know, you go down 14-0 and just the way that first half went I was telling myself man they're gonna get

blown out yeah and I was telling myself that but I didn't know that I didn't really

believe it when I was telling myself that. Yeah. And I just kept saying it

because I was trying to prepare my mind for the possibility. You know like

back in back in the day when you know we got shellacked by Baylor like 70 zero in like the

R. G three years just thinking back to like when you when you felt those days

coming as an out-of-state fan there was no like glimmer of hope in the back of your mind that they could ever come back.

But that was what the difference was on Saturday, is that even though a lot of those same emotions started happening,
