So this is no fault of Jean-Carlo Stanton, just kind of funny how the news cycle works in today's age. So the word about Tony Clark's resignation as MLBPA executive director comes out yesterday. It was like midday. I don't remember the exact timing of it. And the immediate assumption is it's related to the ongoing federal investigation into the union's financial dealings. So after the Yankees go through their spring training workouts, Stanton was asked about it

when he met the media.

Yeah, I just really heard about it on the field during practice, so I don't have much on

it as I don't have any info on who, what, where, when, and why.

But, yeah, not ideal. No, and a short time later,

the who and the what obviously became much clearer.

You asked if someone on the other side

might have called the other side to say,

so how are we doing? Imagine what the conversation was like in the outfields

of the spring training. Oh, I mean, once the

sister-in-law thing? Oh, my God. Came out, of course. Holy crap. It was shocking. So the union's internal. Who would be the one Yankee you'd want to hear his reaction of that more than the other? Mine would be jazz chisholm. Yeah, he'd be fun. Also, because it's spring training, Nick Swishers in camp. Oh, okay. That would definitely be a guy.
