Yankees Jean-Cardlo Stanton can't open a bag of chips due to pain, but still eyes full season. So this is still going back to the elbows, the double tennis elbow situation. line of work. You have your good days and your bad days, just like your mood and everything. His good days aren't normal. Quote, I can't open a bottle. I can't open a bag of chips, a bag of anything. That's the way it is. All right. So now I have tennis elbow myself. I do one as well. I understand the pain involved in it. You're going to tell me they can't figure this out at the pro level?

Well, a sports orthopedic surgeon told NJ.com last March,

Stanton would be facing only a couple months' recovery with surgery,

which is essentially cleaning out the tendon, blah, blah, blah.

Does Stanton have any regret about not having surgery?

You get the surgery, and you can go back to

being in the general population in a few months, but my job is to put some of the most force

into a batted ball. And he basically said he can't have the surgery until his playing career is

over, in his opinion. Okay. It's not going to be fixed in surgery. I don't care what any doctor says because they don't know what's going on. What I don't understand with this, though, and that premise that he's expecting to play a full season, if after four or five months off hasn't healed it, why all of a sudden he's going to be ready in four or five weeks i don't know he's talking about management and rest and

trying to you know stay off the iL he's not going to play 162 games obviously now in his defense and

you have it too i thought by not swinging a golf club for three or four months that i would be better
