I am as Judah mentioned I'm so excited to really talk to us from the story of God but to really

talk about something that I know I'm facing and I love it since I'm the one talking I get I get to

pretend like since I'm facing it we're all facing it so I'm the one talking I get I get to pretend like since I'm facing it. We're all facing it. So I will just keep saying we're all facing it and that is I want to talk about the feelings of anxiety and possibly even in adequacy that we might feel during this season because we feel like we aren't doing enough.

Have you had those days in quarantine like I've had I know I'm Judah and I obviously we live together we work together and it's like our jobs have been upended and thrown upside down and I'm watching him you know prepare two sermons a week and doing all these things that I'm not doing and I've've definitely had these moments of like, am I doing

enough? Am I just stuck here standing still? Am I good enough? Am I doing the right things? I'm so busy because

we're at home with our three kids and so it's not like I'm not doing anything

but just all these feelings of am I doing enough am I being good enough and I know so many of us are facing

those feelings in this crazy time that we find ourselves in as a world.

And as Judah mentioned, I really am glad that we get to highlight all the things we have in common.

So I'm going to be talking a lot about Jesus even if you

aren't a Jesus follower I really believe you can glean some things from here

today and really just get an insight into somebody who loves Jesus and what do I

think about him.

So we're going to go to his story

and we're going to look at the book of 1st Corinthians

starting in chapter 15.

And what I want to pick up on is this concept

in the Bible called standing. It's a concept all throughout the Bible.

It's in the Old Testament in the New Testament. Oftentimes God will say to his people,

stand. Stand firm. stand still.

And I know for me, I'm a doer, I feel good

when I accomplish things.
