This surprised me, but according to the Center for Disease Control, falls are the number one

cause of injuries and death in people 65 and older, and the risk of falls increases proportionately

with age at 80 years over half of seniors fall each year.

It brings to mind the commercial where the woman cries out, help, I've fallen and I can't

get up, but honestly, it also reminds me when I fall spiritually.

When I fall into temptation, I often have the overwhelming fear that I may have broken

my soul and will never be able to stand or walk with God again.

The theme of this meditation from Jude is building yourself up again to walk after falling.

We will be together for about 15 minutes, so to begin your meditation, slip into a time

to feel strong in the presence of God, a place to feel balanced by the Holy Spirit, and

a moment to be held close by Christ.
