Our text is going to be Joshua, the third chapter,

and if you can turn me up in the monitors a little bit I'd love to leave here with my voice

Joshua chapter 3 we're gonna read the first 17 verses I'll move through them quickly, and then we're going to go over

to Joshua chapter 1 and 3. So we're going to start in Joshua 3 and 1, and we're going to close in Joshua 1 and 3.

The Bible says, know those who labor among you.

In another place it says, no no man according to the flesh and what that means ultimately

is that we ought to understand the servants that God places in our midst and prayerfully what we expect from them.

And so I know I've been around for almost 10 years now and I know many of you are

just now getting to know me but I want to kind of help you to understand what my

anointing is so that you will know what to expect. My burden is the preparation of

the people. I believe particularly in the times that we're in right now we need to be prepared.

Are you tracking with me?

And not only prepared but wise. The Bible says in Daniel 12 and 3, those who are wise

shall shine like the brightness of the firmament. Are you tracking with me? So that's my passion. My passion is that you are wise. My passion is that you are prepared. And so if you believe in the necessity of being prepared and you have a desire to be

wise, just pull on that because I believe God's going to do that today in this word.

So when I prayed, God, how can I prepare your people for the times that they are in?
