I want to conclude this series of sermons today that we've been in.

This is part 937 of a series of sermons.

We've been on call God didn't say that.

We've been in this series as long as I can remember.

But I want to read a few verses today starting in Luke chapter 12, beginning at verse number 46.

Luke 12 verse 46.

I'm reading from the new King James rendering of the word of God.

Hear ye the word of the Lord it says now so it was that after three days they found him him being Jesus the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers,

both listening and asking them questions. And all who heard him were astonished at his

understanding and answers. So when they saw him, they were amazed. And his mother said to him,

son, why have you done this to us? Look, your father and I have sought you anxiously.

And he said to them, why do you seek me?

Did you not know that I must be about my father's business?

I want to stop the reading of scripture right there and talk from this subject for today's sermon, standing on business.

Standing, standing on business.

For those of you that are unaware, your pastor or whatever I am to you has a fanatical

type of fondness for the game of basketball.

For the majority of my life, I've watched it, and for a significant part of my life I actually played it I loved it so

fanatically that when I didn't have a ball I put a clothes hanger in the form of a circle

on the top of a door and played with a sock.

I loved this so much that I would take some of y'all too young for this,

an empty milk crate, cut out the bottom of the milk crate,
