with a couple of folk for whom the sun has gently set on their time as councillors and on

portsmouth city council um yeah sorry i don't know if that was all muted because i've only just

join um come back in So were you all okay?

Ah, no, I was waxing lyrical about sunshine and sunsets on, on Portsmouth City Council careers.

So we're joined this evening live by ex-counselor, Lynne Stagg. How are you, Lynne?

Fine, thank you. Well, yes, fine-ish.

Considering I had open-heart surgery a few weeks back, and not too bad.

Marvelous. We're glad to see that's all gone well, and you're up and about and well.

And we did a little recording earlier today, we did indeed so um later on we've

we've got a segment with Rob New who unfortunately we couldn't get him in this evening

but he's joined us uh joined us earlier on today um but um joining us live, we've we've got Lynn, who thankfully

is, has given us part of our Sunday evening. So marvellous. We'll dive straight into the question.

So Lynn, for those of you that, for those of our listeners who perhaps don't know you, can you

introduce yourself and give us a little insight

into how you got into politics and how you ended up becoming a counsellor?

Right, thank you. Yes. Well, I'm Lynstag. I've been one of the Baffins Ward counsellors

for the last 16 years from 2007 until last month

and my background I was a teacher I taught in London first of all then in Plymouth then in Sydney Australia and then in Plymouth, then in Sydney, Australia, and then in Portsmouth.
