To say that we are living in unique times is a massive understatement.

While we've seen tremendous change over the past 50 years,

the level of fear and uncertainty we're currently witnessing is unprecedented.

And unlike other times in history, when our world has experienced tragedy or massive uncertainty,

this is the first time in history where social media has fueled the spread of headlines that are designed to scare us.

The overabundance of information online and in the news, some accurate, some not,

has allowed information to spread and flourish at higher speeds, creating an environment of heightened uncertainty

that has fueled anxiety and fear.

In these times, we need to remember to think critically for ourselves.
