In the final message of his Ephesians series, Francis Chan explores the full armor of God

in how each piece equips us to stand firm and remain rooted in our faith.

We are wrapping up the book of Ephesians. It's taken us about half a year, a little over half a

year. We could have taken a lot longer. I wish we had more time. And that's some of the change that we're making in the church structure and timing is so that we can

have more time where we'll be meeting here on Tuesday nights starting the new year at 6 o'clock

and we'll have a little bit more of an extended time where we spend a little more time in prayer

but then also in some more systematic teaching

through the year so we feel like we're really quipping you with an understanding of the foundational

truths of what we believe and helping you understand how to interpret the scriptures for yourselves

and to just get a good base of theology.

But man, I hope you've been enjoying Ephesians as much as I have.

This has been like my favorite book to ever teach through.

And so we wrap it up today and I kind of want to end the way we started, which was just remembering that these are the very words of God. And so we have reverence for these words as I read from Ephesians

chapter 6 starting in verse 10. Finally finally be strong in the Lord and in the strength

of his might put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the

devil for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the

authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual

forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to
