but, you know, it happens and ultimately it comes out.

There you have concepts and things in them that I find interesting and I want to dive into.

I'm not just here to read you a timeline of events.

I tried to get in a little bit deeper.

Vegas Bray grew up in a military community in San Diego. Her dad wasn't really involved.

She was mostly just raised by her mother. But when she was 12 years old, her mother abandoned her. Vegas would also later go on to reveal that at 12 years old, she was also

sexually assaulted. And when she told a teacher, the teacher didn't do anything. So often, children that are abused don't speak up, they don't know how, they don't know who to go to, and they're scared.

So Vegas actually speaking up to an adult about this and identifying who the person was was such a cry for help, also incredibly brave.

This person essentially told her about the worst

thing that ever happened to her didn't really happen and I can't help you. Vegas may have never

tried to ask for help again. You know, she doesn't have a mother or father figure in her life

and she's really just left alone with this rage, this violation, this betrayal, and it kind of just sits in her.

Now, despite all of this, Vegas actually did really, really well in school. People said that she

was very sweet. She was always on top of her schoolwork. She was generally a nice girl. And I could
