So my friends and I go camping a lot, and my favourite place is in Red River Gorge, Kentucky.

But we go there often, and might have been there ever since I was an infant.

I'm 28 now, married with a kid, and still go, and it's the closest place to where I live

where you can see the Milky Way pretty much every night.

It's perfect for stargazing, and I've seen a shooting star every clear night that I've

been there, which is wonderful.

And when we go without our kids, we'll do a bit of a night hike to get a good look at

our point and stargaze for hours.

So our first experience is night hiking.

We would go to trails that we knew well, and we used frequently during the day.

But ones with log fences and gazebo resting places and what nots.

The most used trail is a trail in the natural bridge state park that leads up to the natural

bridge.

But this trail is around two miles uphill, depending on your starting point.

I've done this trail every summer of my life and could do a blindfolded.
