Okay, we're live. Hi, this is William Ramsey. Welcome to William Ramsey Investigates on today's show. I have a very special guest. He is Professor Joffrey Roberts. He comes to us from Ireland. And he published a book back in 2006 and the UK and I think 2008 here in the States. Title of the book is Stalin's Wars from Cold War from World War to Cold War. And Professor Roberts is a, or was a professor,

you're still a professor or are you formally? I'm what's called an emeritus professor.

Thank you. You're an emeritus professor of history at University College of Court. He is a

fellow of the Royal Historical Society and has been awarded numerous awards over his academic career,

including a Fulbright scholarship to Harvard and a government of Ireland's senior research fellowship.

He is a frequent contributor to British, Irish, and American newspapers, and to popular history journals.

He has acted as a consultant for a number of television and radio documentaries.

And the first book I could find that he wrote was titled The Unholy Alliance,

Stalin's Pact with Hitler, published 1989. Also, the Soviet Union and the Origins of the Second World War published in 1995.

Also, the Soviet Union and World Politics, 45 to 1991, published in 1999.

In 2002, victory at Stalingrad, the battle that changed history.

2012, Molotov, Stalin's Cold Warrior. Also in 2012, Stalin's General, the life of Georgi Zhukov.

And with some other authors, he published in 2020, Churchill and Stalin comrades in arms during the Second World War.

And he has a book coming out next year titled Stalin's Library, A Dictator and His Books.

And his website, which will soon to be updated this month, is his full name.net. So it's Jeffrey spelled G-E-O-F-F-R-E-Y, R-B-E-R-T-S dot net.

But again, we're going to talk about this fascinating book that I read through,

title of it again, is Stalin's Wars from World War to Cold War, 1939 to 1953.
