Hi, this is William Ramsey.

Welcome to William Ramsey Investigates on today's show of a very special guest.

He comes to us from Eastern Europe.

I spoke to him back on December 9th, 2021.

His name is Joffrey Roberts.

And our earlier conversation was out about an excellent book that I read titled Stalin's Wars,

from World War to Cold War, 1939 to

1953. And this is we're going to talk about a book today that just came out in February 6th,

2022. Title of it is Stalin's Library, a dictator in his books, which I finished this morning,

really a fascinating book.

And Mr. Roberts is Emeritus Professor of History from University College of Cork.

He's a fellow of the Royal Historical Society and has been awarded numerous awards over his academic

career, including a Fulbright

scholarship to Harvard and a government of Ireland senior research fellowship.

He's a frequent contributor to British Irish and American newspapers into popular history journals,

and he has acted as a consultant for a number of television and radio documentaries.

And he's written many books.
