Swinton. Yes. Now till the Swinton was a hot topic in our household this weekend. Yeah, because we finally watched the remake of

Suspiria. Yeah, it only took us many, many months. We were only counting down the days right to come out on the theater and then never wanted to go see it. But we finally got it in. Look, we launched a podcast. A lot of things happened in that time.

It's true. Plus, sometimes you got to wait for something you love. You want to be able to take it in. Fist is my favorite musician. And when she released the album Pleasure, I was kind of going through it at that time. So I legitimately waited a year until I listened to that album.

So like sometimes she just got to be in the right head space to be able to take something in that you know you're going to love. It's true. And we loved it. And we loved it. And it was really long and we loved it.

It doesn't matter though. In fact, I watched it two nights in a row because the whole deal was we were over at a friend's place this past weekend. And they were like, Hey, you want to watch Suspiria. We were into it. It was midnight. Didn't really realize it was two and a half hours. And Tyler may or may not have fallen asleep.

Yeah, I definitely did. But the next night we watched it at our place. It was totally cool. It's very rewatchable. It is. Yes. So I think it would be I haven't rewatched it yet. I just watched it the once.

Yeah, but I think we would totally recommend it. So if you're a fan of the original, it's a complete departure aside from kind of the architecture of the story.

And till the Swinton was like above this world. Yes, absolutely. And now I think and I think you think that Tilda Swinton belongs on the diva show.

100% in fact, you suggested that she was the diva shelf. Yeah, she was been playing the diva shelf this whole time. Exactly.

It's like the therapist in Suspiria and you're just not aware of it. Exactly. Yeah. So, yeah. So I guess it's time to formally take Tilda from being the structure itself to just being on the shelf. So we'll add her this week. Yes.

So it's sounding pretentious. I just thought it was super cool that the movie basically looked at matriarchal structures and the power dynamics in it until the Swinton's character just had like all of this tension in like herself and in her place in the school as a witch as the person who wants power.

And then is like drawn in by this person who's like a fan of hers and she has like subsexual tension. It's just so there are just like so many fucking parts to it.

So if you watch it twice, take Tilda Swinton in. It's an absolute treat. Yeah. And if you really think about it, the only like male part in the movie was played by a woman.

Aside from the cops that got their weeners tickled. Right.

So thank you Tilda Swinton. Thank you Tom York for not singing through the whole fucking thing. I mean, you sang through a little bit of it.

But thank you for not singing as much as you would expect Tom York to sing. Yeah. Yeah. I think to quote what you said last night. Thank you for not making it the Tom Yorker songs.

Yeah. I mean, if I could turn back time and control the way that things worked out, I'd be cool with Tom York writing the music.

But I would have loved if like, I don't know, Leslie Feist or Patty Smith or Lizzo had done the singing.
