Football is on the horizon.

The lion season, and you believe this, is just 11 days away.

September 13th, Ford Field, no fans in the stands, and the Chicago Bears are coming into town.

But excited to talk about the Lions today, a Ford Field afternoon practice for the team

today as they bust down to the corner of Brush and Adams for a little feeling out of the stadium

and actually just practicing on the turf on their home

field. We'll talk about that today. Who is out there? Who missed practice? We'll get into that.

Matthew Stafford MVP talk is alive and well once again. Earlier this morning, Good Morning

Football's Peter Schrager went into this whole soliloquy about Stafford being a MVP candidate,

which is something he did a couple weeks ago.

And then Nate Berluson, the former Lion, now turned to Analyst, had a very interesting text exchange that he shared on the show.
