Oh, gee, do you know the history behind Memorial Day? I do. Well, regalus, my friend.

Was a quiz question. I see. Well, the history behind that. I'm going to have to look up. Well, I thought you said you knew it. Well, so here's what happened World War two day or whatever.

Well, we'll cut to the chase. No, it was actually in the years after the Civil War. According to history.com originally known as decoration day at originated after the Civil War became an official federal holiday in 1971.

Many Americans observed Memorial Day by visiting cemeteries or memorials holding family gatherings and participating in parades.

On officially it marks the beginning of the summer season, of course, and we celebrated that all last week. So on behalf of the men and women of Navy federal credit union and our team here at stacking

measurements, a big Memorial Day shout out to our troops and also a Memorial Day moment to the men and women we've lost while they were defending this country. That's what Memorial Day is all about.
