of Faith. We're talking to Stacy Abrams whose name is being bandied about for

Vice President on the Democratic ticket. Now Abrams is the former minority leader in the Georgia House of Representatives.

And if you remember, a few years ago, she became the first black woman to hold a major party's nomination for governor. In this

episode leader Abrams opens up sharing how her faith has shaped her political

views and why she believes Jesus was a progressive.

She's also going to tell us what she thinks about possibly becoming the VP pick for the Democratic ticket.

We did record this episode before coronavirus really ramped up here at the

United States and also before Senator Bernie Sanders dropped out of the race

making Joe Biden the presumptive nominee.

Wonderful. Thanks for taking the time. So I want to dig into your background a little bit.

You were born in Wisconsin, you were raised in Mississippi,

and then your family moved to Atlanta,

where your parents pursued degrees and the ministry.

In fact, both of them became Methodist ministers.

And I went to your website and it says that you and your five siblings were raised on three principals.
