I mean, you have accolades to your name, which far outpace appearances on either of those podcasts. But professor of philosophy at Loyola, Merriman University, presently on a fellowship at Notre Dame.

But for those who don't know, you could say word of kind of who you are and what's good in life.

Sure, yeah. So I grew up in Seattle and then I went to Boston College and then left for Notre Dame for graduate school.

And then after that, my wife and I went to Germany for a year.

I was a von Humboldt fellow at the University of Cologne.

And then I took a job at Loyola, New Orleans, and then took my job at Loyola,

So I spent a year at Princeton and a year at the Catholic University of America and spent a year in another year in Germany as a Fulbright scholar.
