Welcome to our rosary meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen. Let's call the mind all those that we've promised to pray for, especially for the healing of

Olivia Canili for Little Damien, Damien, for Sergio,

and for the continued recovery of Steve White

after his heart transplant.

Now today, June 29th the church celebrates the feast of Saints Peter and Paul

two pillars upon which Jesus built the church. Now there's a lot of division and confusion these days in the church.

So let's take this feast day to be reminded of some fundamental truths.

First, all other religions and churches were founded by mere men. The Catholic church, however, was founded by the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

He founded the Catholic Church when he instituted the Eucharist at the last supper on Holy

Thursday evening.

And Jesus himself continues to govern, teach,

and make his people holy through the Catholic Church.

And no matter what Jesus will keep it in being

until the end of time. Most importantly Jesus is the head and the Catholic Church is his mystical body.

Some people think they can have a relationship with Jesus, but not the Church.

Imagine saying to someone, I want a friendship with you, but if you're going to relate to me through

your body, well then I don't want anything to do with you. That would be offensive or at the very least pretty

weird. Now the normal way to have a relationship with Christ is through his body, the church.

Christ identifies himself with his body.
