reportedly received a vision of the popes from his time to the end of the world. He's said to have

written a list of 112 cryptic descriptions of them.

And many have pointed out how accurate some of these descriptions are.

But others have raised doubts.

So what is St. Maliki's prophecy of the popes?

How accurate is it?

And what light do recent events shed on it?

That's what we'll be talking about on this

episode of Jimmy Aiken's mysterious world. Now, Jimmy, why did you want to cover this mystery?

Well, I've covered St. Malachia's Prophecy of the Pops for a long time. 12 years ago, back in

2013, I did a detailed analysis of it, and we'll have a link to where you can read about it on my personal website, jimmyakin.com. I'd planned for a long time to cover it on Mysterious World, but the recent death of Pope Francis caused new questions to arise about it, and his death also sheds new light on the prophecy. So I quickly decided that now's the time that we should take a look at it.

In fact, I started writing this episode the same day that Pope Francis died, but because of the production cycle we have for Mysterious World, I knew that the episode would not appear immediately and that we'd have a new Pope before it came out.

And indeed, we now have his successor Pope before it came out, and indeed we

now have his successor, Pope Leo the 14th. Still, this is a very good time to take a look at the

prophecy. Then let's begin. First, what do we know about St. Maliki? Well, the first thing to know is
