| 0:09.3 | Today is the Feast of St Louis de Manfort. Even though it's a Sunday, this is his normal feast day. |
| 0:19.6 | At the age of 19, St Louis de Monfort went to Paris to study theology. He said goodbye to his family and friends |
| 0:26.9 | at the bridge on the outskirts of Renez. And having left all, he crossed the bridge to a new life relying on God alone. |
| 0:35.8 | So convinced that God was his loving father, |
| 0:39.6 | that he gave his money and luggage to the first beggars he met and even exchanged clothes with one of them. |
| 0:48.0 | Then turning he walked joyfully to Paris, begging for food and shelter along the way. |
| 0:54.6 | And the rest of his life, he lived just this way. He lived for God alone and relied on God alone. |
