Welcome to part two of a four-part series where we're talking about St. Francis DeSales and the character of a Christian.

1:30.0	What does St. Francis DeSales mean by that?

1:34.4	So as you know, he's regarded as a kind of someone who collected the great wisdom of the 16th century
1:43.5	masters.
1:44.3	So he read Teresa Vavila, John of the Cross,
1:46.8	when they're like hot off the press, you know.
1:50.2	And just as Teresa, as La Grande Teresa said,
1:56.0	prayer is talking to God as a friend, you know.
2:00.6	And this is Francis DeSalle's conception of prayer.
