0:40.5	Her feast day is July 23rd, and the point of these episodes are to dive into the lives of the saints and look to them for inspiration for us still here on earth. So St. Bridget of
0:46.6	Sweden, let's dive in. I had just one initial question for you before you share more about her life.
0:53.1	I've heard different
0:54.3	derivatives of her name. Is she always known as St. Bridget or what are maybe are the other,
1:00.6	I've heard Brigid, maybe with the D. Yeah, right. Yeah. What is she known as? As I understand it,
1:08.8	her name would have been pronounced Brigitte when she was alive and in Swedish.
1:15.2	Actually, I know a couple of brigitas who are of Swedish ancestry.
1:19.8	I'm not exactly sure the Anglicization story for rigid or Brigid.
1:27.0	But the same person.
1:28.2	Usually the French are involved if English is weird.
1:31.1	Okay.
1:32.0	So I don't know.
1:33.4	Okay.
1:34.3	But Brigitte would be her name in Swedish.
