It's all about credential.

I'm a licensed teacher.

I'm a credentialed teacher over and over.

And even things that are distinctly classical.

I saw one that was called school A.

But the selling point on who the teacher was, was I'm a credential teacher.

As someone who helps hire teachers, when I say that they have a credential, I consider it a liability.

Because I don't know how much time and energy I want to spend unteaching this person whose philosophy is bad.

Now, I'm not saying that person's philosophy was bad.

I'm saying, I find it weird that the homeschoolers consider that a selling point.
