Welcome, welcome. I wish you could see me right now. I'm always eyes are open. I'm in a hospital room right now.

My wife is in the bed and there's a new baby boy who's just watching me record this. Listen, there's no reason that just because your wife gives birth means you can't do a wrestling podcast.

Wrestling is going to happen and this week I got to sit there. My wife did she gave birth to a baby boy and I got to sit there and watch raw and smack down. It was Sunday night that he was born.

So by Monday he's watching raw and by Tuesday he's watching smack down a chip off the old block. Thank you for joining us here at Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast.

We got a lot going on on this week's show. Katie Linnidall is back in state of wrestling and it's an extra long one. We break down everything that happened this week.

But before we get to that, obviously I've been in a hospital for about four days. I wasn't able to get a brand new interview in for you.

But this is one of my favorite interviews and one that has not been a part of Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast before.

We dug deep in the archives and went to a few years ago, probably about four years ago, before SummerSlam. This interview was done in Los Angeles and it was part of SummerSlam Radio Row.

I talked to Vicki Guerrero. Vicki, I feel like didn't do all that many interviews.

I just had a really good time. She's a sweet lady. It's just fun, genuine and one of those people that you want to see succeed.

She hasn't been on TV in a long time and I feel like you forget how good she was in the general manager role, in the love interest role.

Just as a bad guy, Vicki Guerrero really was a natural as a performer.

And somebody that I think could in any era do well on TV. If she came back today, she'd be able to do a hell of a job as a general manager as manager to one of the talent, anything, anything.
