I am Sam Roberts, and this is my Wrestling Podcast, a podcast done by a wrestling fan.

Four wrestling fans, and you know, there's a lot of wrestling fans out there.

That's part of the mission of our podcast here is to remember that that's what we are.

We're wrestling fans. We like wrestling and to celebrate everything that makes it awesome.

Today is going to be one of those shows where we just hear voices of people who love professional wrestling.

I'm going to start, of course, with our interview Matt Sidel, aka Evan Bourne, or should I say FKA Evan Bourne, is on the podcast this week.

Of course, Matt Sidel has had a huge career with Ring of Honor and New Japan as of late.

Evan Bourne had a run in WWE. It was successful, but there were some wellness policy violations.

There were some injuries, some things that just didn't pan out.

I always, it was almost like, and it was before the era of that kind of high flyer in the company.

He, never I feel like, is in the spot that Evan Bourne was in for a period of time, but Evan Bourne has managed to carve out a niche for himself.

And if you talk to him, which I did, and you'll hear, you can hear how excited he is about pro wrestling.

To me, that was the biggest takeaway for this interview. How excited Matt Sidel is to be performing, is to be in front of a crowd.
