Welcome to the Wrestling Podcast of all weeks to be the host of a wrestling podcast.

This would be it of all times to reflect on things in pro wrestling.

Especially here in New York.

If you follow me on social media, you know I was all over SummerSlam weekend.

I was at takeover, I was at SummerSlam, I was at Raw, all at the Barclays Center,

all in Brooklyn, New York.

And I will tell you this.

All three excellent shows.

SummerSlam had its issues with the ending.

And it's really interesting, and we'll talk more about this in the state of wrestling.

But it is really interesting that it's kind of come to be expected.

When you put out the NXT, the NXT is doing a takeover, then there's going to be SummerSlam, a WWE Pay Per View.

And then there's going to be Raw after the SummerSlam.

One would assume that SummerSlam is going to be third on that list of how good the shows are.

And that's unexpected and kind of illogical, but it's the truth.

When you break it down, not, was it better, what would you expect to be better?

I don't think most people, when in going, you know what, I think takeover might be better than SummerSlam.
