Man, things are hopping around here at the, at Ye Old Pipe Shop. It's going to, going great. We're getting really excited about the upcoming weekend. Got a lot going on. And, man, things are just moving are just moving along. Football seasons in gear. People are coming in looking for those smokes, looking for the nice, you know, Saturday afternoon, you know, respite, something to pair with their favorite whiskey, their favorite, you know, favorite, you know, football team. And, of course, we'll be doing some pairings tonight of our own. Yeah, man. So I got to ask you a question. Look, I know it's a dumb question, and I know that a lot

of times we joke, and you call Gumby the Avengers, and I think that hockey is football. There are no stupid questions, just stupid people. And I'm one of those people. And this is my question to you, sir. You said it's football season, and that is true, but it's also basketball season at the same time?

No. No. No. That comes... You said it's football season, and that is true, but it's also basketball season at the same time?

No, that comes a little later on in the fall.

Because my phone is telling me that Memphis is playing somebody tonight.

It's got a little basketball icon.

Well, maybe it already started.

I don't follow basketball a lot, but I always associate basketball with kind of like, well, honestly, like right around. Yeah, the magic is, Orlando Magic, that is a basketball team. Memphis Grizzlies, I just sports you. That you did. I sports to you. You sports me. That is a, that is a verb. That is a verb. And you sports me. I totally sports too. You know, I never really

got into pro basketball. I never really got in a basketball period, but always associate kind of

the start of basketball season, at least on the college level, right around Halloween. You know,

that kind of Halloween, Halloween time. And so, yeah, it's just enough into the Mississippi State

football season to get depressed about football. And then you're looking for the next sport. Yeah, that's kind of, right, right. As a true Mississippi State fan, that kind of, you know, it just kind of leads me into the next sport. And so I always associate that. And then by the time that basketball is winding down, baseball's picking up. And so every time you... Well, baseball, I mean, we can all agree that baseball's

kind of boring, right? Well, I mean, you know, if you're watching it live, it's different. You know, if you're on site, that's one thing. If you're watching on TV, you might as well be, you know, watching well exactly exactly you go on site you get the the chips you you you turn to see what

everybody's cheering about and you go back to your chips and beer no i'm just saying you know back

you know baseball chips you you you turn to see what everybody's cheering about and you go back to your chips

and beer no i'm just saying you know back you know baseball here locally you go it's a it's a it's an event because of thirsty thursday that's right no i mean that that like that is they it's it's thirsty thursday and they're playing baseball like that that's kind of part of it well man tonight as we we record live, it is thirsty Monday with what we've got going on this evening.
