Good Monday morning. Welcome to Squawk on the Street. I'm Carl Kintanio with Jim Kramer, David Faber at the New York Stock Exchange. There's one chart to watch this morning, and that is oil, up 10% on the attack of Saudi

facilities, and the worst single supply disruption ever.

What's the impact on the global economy, China, Aramco, and more.

Futures are weak, but Chevron and Exxon will actually add about 50 points to the Dow at the

open.

Coming up later on this morning, Energy Secretary Rick Perry calling the attack a deliberate attack on the global economy and the global energy market.

Plus, Oxycontainmaker Purdue Pharma is filing for bankruptcy protection. That occurred early this morning. The company's chairman, Steve Miller, joining us to discuss the settlement, and what he hopes is for a path forward for this

company.

First up, though, a series of attacks on the world's two largest oil processing facilities

in Saudi Arabia has energy prices soaring today.

Yemen's Houthi rebels have claimed responsibility, but the U.S. is rejecting that notion,

saying the scope and the precision of the attack suggests the launch was not made by the Houthis, but in fact originated from Iran.

However, Iran calling those claims baseless and unacceptable.

Guys, we've been talking all year long about what it would take to create a true supply shock.
