Amen. What's called a mind to all those we've promised to pray for.

As Wednesday of Holy Week begins, the chief priests and the elders assembled in the palace of the

High Priest Kaiaphus and made plans to arrest Jesus in secret and then put him to death. At the same time Jesus was at Bethany.

Simon the leper was hosting a meal for him.

Lazarus was there, as was Martha, who was probably serving, and then Mary, their

sister came. And she went immediately to Jesus with an alabaster jar of the most expensive perfumed ointment

and poured it on his head and anointed his feet wiping them with her hair and the house was filled with the fragrance.

Judas Iscariot said, why wasn't this sold for 300 days wages and the money given to the poor?

Now he said this not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief.

Jesus said to him, leave her alone.

She has done a beautiful thing to me.

You have the poor with you always. You will not always have me. When she

poured this ointment on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial. Truly I say to you, wherever this good news is proclaimed,

what she has done will be told in remembrance of her.

I am so moved by what Jesus said of Mary. She has done a

beautiful thing to me. Now when God says that to you, well, that's a big deal.

Don't you also want to do something beautiful for God. Our Father who aren't in heaven, hollow would be your name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us our stay our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those

who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil,
