And with that in mind, and we've got a third guest for you right now. He is our Italian football expert, James Horncasten. We're delighted because he's got so much work to do today that he's joined us here on the view from the lane. James, I'm going to go straight into you here, and we're going to ask you a series of impertinent questions which lean heavily on your knowledge of Italian football. Is this a good appoint for Spurs in the terrible place that they are at the moment?

Well, I mean, look, Igor Tudor has a lot of experience of coming in and doing this kind of job.

You know, he, yeah, his last couple of positions in Italy have been exactly this, coming in a little bit later, actually,

in March when team seasons have gone off the rails, not as badly as Tottenham's, I must say.

We're talking about teams that have risked not qualifying for Europe.

So Lazio two years ago, all of a sudden Marizio Sari resigned.

He stepped in, ensured they got into the Europa League. This time last year,

Juventus kind of hit the skids, looked like they weren't going to qualify for Champions

Champions League. So in terms of a guy who can come in and do a job, you know, he's done enough

in both of those jobs at Lazio and Juventis to make fans and owners think, oh, we might as well

That was the case at Lazio, but he left Lazio because he fell out with the owner who was prepared to keep him on
