I'm Pete Samson joined as always by Matt Fortuna.

We've got some NFL draft preview to talk about,

some college football playoff hypothetical scenarios, and then Notre Dame is a spring game on Saturday,

which will probably rank among the more interesting ones that I've covered. And to be blunt,

I'm just grateful it exists after last year.

We got nothing at all.

So I'm viewing the utility and value of watching a spring game in a completely different light this year after COVID-19.

Yeah, you never know what you got until it's gone, right?

I mean, I know pre-COVID, we all had our fun with the spring and the overreactions and the Junior Jabby Award,

which I'm grateful

that you slipped into your mailbag lead today.

But like for real, we're really going to overreact this time because we haven't seen anything

with our own two eyes since the Alabama game.

And we're going to overreacting.

We're going to see whether in person like you or on Peacock like me, what Saturday is going to be like. And, you know, we've talked at nausea

about how many, not question marks, but, you know, how different this team's going to look,

how many different players are going to step up and take on leading roles. And we're going to think we're going to get some form of answer Saturday.

I don't know if that will end up being true come fall, but it's better than nothing.

And I'm excited to sit down and see what this team's about.
