The whole world is dealing with the coronavirus, but the effect on Ohio State football

is that the spring football game scheduled for

April 11th has been canceled. This is Doug Lamore from Cleveland.com. As the

sports world reacts to all of this, Ohio State obviously is affected just like anybody else.

The school announced on Wednesday evening that all athletic contests until the end of this

school year this spring will be played without fans. So if you have tickets to any event

you can get a refund if you bought it in person or if you bought it online or over the phone it will be automatically

refunded shortly. But the big news that affects Ohio State football fans is at again the

April 11th spring football game in Ohio Stadium a month out has been preemptively

cancelled. There's also some effect on Ohio State's recruiting. The Buckeyes will not host

any official visits or unofficial visits until April 20th.

Also, they will not have coaches going out on the road.
